I would like to first mention, that this challenge had nothing to do with, "Clogging," as I originally wrote yesterday. That has been fixed now, but I did think that it was rather funny, me in a Clog challenge, rather than the Blog challenge that this really is. Get your clogging shoes ready folks, cause here we go...
I wrote yesterday that my theme would be saving and making money, but I thought I would start, “A,” with, "A," little about me. You know, like a little, get to know you, or actually, get to know me just a little bit better.
Where shall I start? At the beginning then…
I was born in Milford, Connecticut. I do not remember it at all, because my
parents moved around a lot. Part of it
was their work; the other part was because they ran away together. She was too
young, and he was too old for her. Scandalous,
I know, but they loved each other, and I would not be here otherwise.
I have two younger sisters, one born in California, and the other in Texas. I grew up in the Houston area, and lived in Texas for 30 years. We still moved around; I attended 13 different schools from elementary through high school. I was always the new girl.
My parents eventually divorced, and my Mother
became a Police Officer, and then an undercover narcotics agent for a time. It was interesting; we lived separately from
her and had to lie about who we were.
I met my husband in Houston. I was married there. I had my two daughters there. Houston and Texas will always have a place in
my heart. If you are from Texas, you
will know exactly what I mean. There is no
other place like it.
About 3 years ago, I moved to Smyrna, Tennessee,
just south of Nashville, to help my Mother.
I love it here. If you have never
been, it is a beautiful place to live or visit.
I have always been practical where money is
concerned and have always tried to stretch a dollar. I love talking to people and helping them
save money.
There is so much more to me, and it is so hard
to share who I am in just a few hundred words, but you can learn more about me
on my page here.
Whether you stop by often or are visiting for
the first time, I hope that you enjoyed learning a little about me. Now it is your turn! Please tell me a little about you!
Do you write a blog of your own? Do you use coupons or have another way that
you like to save money? Have you moved
around a lot? I would love to know a
little more about you.
